Chabrier short biography

One of the most brilliant French composers of the second half of the 19^th Century, Emmanuel Chabrier worked for the Ministry of the Interior, because his parents did not want him to become a musician. It was only in 1880 when Chabrier could fully devote himself to music. Chabrier's most successful compositions are colorful orchestral and piano works. Chabrier’s influence on future generation of French composers was quite significant.
