One of important guitarists and composers, Napoleon Coste started his music education under the guidance of his mother. At age 23 Coste settled in Paris and was acclaimed as the most outstanding French virtuoso. While Coste's fame as guitar virtuoso assured him financial stability, Costa had to cover all expenses for publishing of his compositions. Coste’s numerous works for guitar are still a part of the concert repertoire of today’s guitarists.
