Vladimir Rebikov short biography

A noted Russian pianist and composer, Vladimir Rebikov began his music studies with his mother. After graduating from the Moscow University with the degree in philology, Rebikov continued his music education at the Moscow Conservatory and later in Berlin and Vienna. Admired by Debussy, Rebikov used an advanced harmony and polytonality. Rebikov wrote 12 operas and many instrumental pieces.
